Terms of Service

Effective date: April 2026. By signing up or using WhatsJet you agree to these terms.
1. Service description

WhatsJet is a multi-tenant WhatsApp marketing and customer-engagement platform built on Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API. Features include contact management, bulk campaign scheduling, template management, real-time live chat, auto-reply bots with visual flow builder, AI-assisted replies, and analytics. Access to specific features is gated by your active subscription plan.

2. Eligibility and account setup

You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract. You must provide a valid WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) verified by Meta before sending any messages. You are responsible for keeping your password, API token, and vendor webhook secret confidential.

3. Acceptable use and Meta compliance

You must comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and WhatsApp Commerce Policy. In particular: (a) you must obtain verifiable opt-in consent from every contact before sending marketing templates; (b) you must not message contacts who have opted out; (c) you must respect the 24-hour customer-service window for free-form replies; (d) you must not use WhatsJet for spam, phishing, impersonation, illegal content, adult services, weapons, drugs, or any activity banned by Meta's Commerce Policy. Violations may result in immediate account suspension and will be reported to Meta.

4. Your responsibilities as data controller

You are the data controller for the WhatsApp contact data stored in your tenant. WhatsJet processes that data on your instructions as a processor. You are responsible for (a) the lawfulness of every import, (b) responding to data-subject access and erasure requests from your contacts, (c) honoring opt-out requests promptly, and (d) providing your own privacy policy to contacts who interact with your WhatsApp Business account.

5. WhatsApp conversation charges

Meta charges you directly for conversations initiated on the WhatsApp Business Platform according to Meta's conversation-based pricing. WhatsJet's subscription fee is separate and covers platform access only — it does not include Meta's messaging fees.

6. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via bank transfer or (when configured) via Stripe or PayPal. Bank transfers are manually approved by an administrator. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not prorate partial months. Refunds are issued at our discretion for service outages attributable to WhatsJet, not to Meta downtime or vendor WABA issues.

7. API access and outgoing webhooks

Your plan may include API access and outgoing webhook forwarding. You must keep your API token and webhook signing secret confidential. We sign every outgoing webhook with your HMAC key so your receiver can verify authenticity. You are responsible for the security of any endpoint you register to receive webhook traffic.

8. Data deletion and account termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Meta may also trigger deletion via the data-deletion callback when you revoke WhatsJet from your Facebook account. In both cases we hard-delete your entire vendor tenant — contacts, messages, campaigns, templates, bot flows, subscriptions, and team members. Deletion is irreversible. Keep a local backup via the Export Data feature before deleting.

9. Service availability

We target 99% monthly uptime excluding scheduled maintenance and events outside our control (Meta API outages, DNS failures, upstream provider incidents). WhatsJet is provided "as is" without warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of WhatsJet is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profit, or loss of data.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we have reasonable grounds to believe you have violated these terms, Meta's platform terms, or applicable law. We will notify you by email where practical and — unless legally prohibited — give you a chance to export your data before deletion.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and by email. Continued use of the service after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
